Welcome to our family page. We are thankful for what God is doing in our lives. He has kept us healthy, but is also teaching each one of us more and more to obey and trust Him. As parents we are learning a lot about love by trying to love the children. We can see more clearly now how much each of our parents sacrificed to raise us as faithfully as they did. Lydia is understanding how to be a young adult, practically homeschooling herself, while trying be a kid and play with her little brother. Timothy is a big boy now, and likes to take care of younger friends; he still draws whenever he can.

Love with Actions and in Truth
So, What's Going on with Us?

Sarah is very thankful for our time here, as she can feel the blessings of God in our lives. Please pray for strength and wisdom as she continues homeschooling the children while trying her best to love her neighbor.

Lydia is growing very fast as a teen. Her attitude is changing and she's trying act like an adult while still being like a little kid. Please pray that we will be gentle and loving parents while she goes through rapid changes.

Timothy is growing fast too, more motivated with his studies, but also very busy playing with his friends. Please pray that he will grow to know Jesus Christ personally.

Paul is happy with having met a lot of people the past five years, and wants to settle down doing some paper work, focusing on a fewer group of Thai leaders to support, as well as continuing his own teaching responsibilities. He also wants to be a great husband and father and son and brother.

We are thankful for our Thai friends, and have been ministering with Newsong Bangkok Church. More on

Timothy loves drawing, and is popular among friends. Lydia is playing the flute and violin.
Our Prayers
Please pray for:
1. Us to be efficient with our use of time, prioritizing each other over "work".
2. Timothy, who understand the gospel and talks about it with his Thai friends.
3. Lydia, to develop a clear identity in Christ; living as a Korean-American MK in a metropolitan Asian city like Bangkok can be confusing. Her identity must be clear in the context of a very Buddhist and animistic Thai culture.
4. Sarah, to find greater joy and strength as she juggles cross-cultural adjustment, homeschooling two kids, and loving the Thais.
5. Paul, as he spends more time reflecting on his tendency to block out emotion; He needs to shift from the numb focus on tasks to relationships and sensitivity to others.
